So after two weeks of having no bad carbs, how are you feeling? Sleeping better, not bloated, lost a few kgs/cms? How exciting! Especially as we approach the holidays, your body and mind will be in a good place to continue before you have a couple cheat meals nearing the latter part of December. So let’s get onto what to quit this week and how to fuel you better!
WEEK 3:
Quit List:
– Seeded oils (sunflower, sesame)
– Margarine
– Bottled sauces: Tomato, mayonaise, chutney, sweet chilli, etc. Rather buy a Tomato sauce and Mayonnaise that has been made with no seeded oils and other nasty ingredients but one made from Avocado or Olive oil instead. Or better yet, make it yourself!
– Legumes – chickpeas, lentils, couscous, quinoa, split peas
Fuel Tips:
– Cook with Coconut oil, farm butter, duck fat, lard or tallow.
– Use Olive Oil as a dressing and don’t heat it up to cook with.
