The truth about alcohol and weight loss.

Alcohol has its own rules when you are trying to lose weight. Our fat metabolism drops by > 70% when you consume alcohol. Fat loss is prevented from your existing body stores. Remember alcohol also raises your cortisol level, which wastes away your muscle and fat disposition. Alcohol reduces our ability to build strong fat-burning muscle and slows down metabolic rate! Alcohol also produces Acetate which our body uses for energy instead of our fat! And we don’t drink enough water, so we get dehydrated and this plays havoc with our kidneys and thats why that fat gets stored in our liver. Our liver is our greatest ally when it comes to weight loss and good health. So take care of it.

TIP: Don’t drink on an empty stomach! Have a healthy snack or salad before going out. Your body will thank you for it.
